Brian Schottenheimer on hot seat
Andrew Mills/The StarLedgerMark Sanchez and Brian Schottenheimer are on the hot seat entering Sunday's game, but Rex Ryan has publicly backed up each one.
Mark Sanchez and Brian Schottenheimer have been taking a lot of heat from fans the past few weeks Sanchez for his poor play, Schottenheimer for his questionable playcalling.
Heading into Sunday's mustwin game against the Dolphins in Miami, Sanchez and Schottenheimer are on the hot seat, despite being backed up by coach Rex Ryan. The general manager, Mike Tannenbaum, is the only one that is not talking to back up Rex Ryan's assertion on the Jets' confidence level in Brian Schottenheimer and Mark Sanchez. Trust me Mark's and Brian's performances will be closely scrutinized in Miami this Sunday. As we all know anything can happen during the offseason so don't discount anything in terms of possible scenarios of transactions and trades. Running and throwing dink and dunks acting like they have Chad Pennington as their QB still. I mean, come on now people, nike free dame, Sanchez should be allowed to air it out most of the time.
Sanchez is being unfairly criticized for his performances because if you think about it, it is Schottenheimer's fault for mostly all of it. I am a Mark Sanchez supporter all the way. Go Jets!
To the fans saying get rid of Sanchez, you are all crazy. What do you want? Testaverde or Pennington as the quarterback? Because they were both worse then Sanchez. Mark Sanchez is a winner, not some loser like Chad "alwaystornrotatorcuff" Pennington or Vinny "I throw interceptions aimlessly" Testaverde.
Everyone who hates Sanchez is not a Jets fan. It's his 3rd year; give it time. Maybe in his fourth year Sanchez will bring us where we want to go and that is the SUPER BOWL. I BELIEVE IN THIS QUARTERBACK. NOT IN THE OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR.
